Intuitive Operation for Users

At the beginning, it should be mentioned that the new Production Terminal, just like the existing MTerm, is a solution for operating our production-related software solutions. Like the MTerm, the Production Terminal offers intuitive user guidance and clearly presents the necessary information for the personnel on the shopfloor, as usual in the tile-based layout.

Customer-specific requirements were taken into account through greater flexibility and more configuration options.

MTerm, as part of our OEE Analyser solution, is limited in communication and operation to this system. Production Terminal is an independent product that can basically communicate with any other IT system. Information from these systems can be displayed on the terminal in the respective tiles and bookings can be sent to any IT system.

In this way, Production Terminal supports communication with our OEE Analyser as well as our IPC system.

In this way, Production Terminal supports communication with our OEE Analyser as well as our IPC system.

Web Technology for More Flexibility

Production Terminal runs on all modern web browsers and therefore no longer needs to be installed as a separate program on the respective machine PCs. This makes it easier to roll out to other plants and to administer the entire system.

The terminal's web technology makes it operating system-independent. This means that it can be run on all mobile devices that are equipped with a web browser and that support the necessary screen resolution.

With Production Terminal, we placed particular emphasis on the look and feel as well as the user guidance. The user's attention is directed to where it is needed. For example, production values that leave the default range can be made clearly visible to the machine operator or required entries by the operating personnel can be visualized.

The Production Terminal supports several themes out of the box. The customer's corporate design can also be easily adopted.
