Project Objectives
Austria‘s largest company in the agricultural sector was confronted with complex challenges in its production monitoring. In addition to the need for precise in-process inspections to ensure compliance with strict quality standards, the lack of transparency in the production processes and insufficient plant availability were critical issues in ensuring the production of high-quality products.
Project Realisation
Berglandmilch is consistently pursuing the path to digital production. The GAMED products OEE Analyser and Machine Eye have been used on over 100 systems at 7 production sites since 2017. The OEE Analyser provides all important performance analyses and key figures for the systems, while Machine Eye is used to clearly visualize process statuses and developments both on the shopfloor and on mobile devices. The products work in real time and offer plant operators and managers significantly more transparency and show targeted potential for optimization.

Results and Outlook
The consistently pursued path to digital production not only leads Berglandmilch to ultra-modern and efficient production, but also helps the company to work in a resource-conserving manner along the entire value chain, making it a role model for sustainability on the European market.
In addition to OEE monitoring, GAMED also developed Quality Assistant, a completely new tool for Austria’s largest dairy, to enable all inspections to be carried out reliably and on time without paper documents. The automated testing process reduces the workload for employees and provides clear data analyses as well as simple proof of conformity for audits.
